Welcome to the Fine Art section of The Spatula Museum. You see here the first in our collection from Jonathan's Wild Cherry Spoons. Made of cherry wood, it has a unique sense of balance and form because it was crafted with the hand and purpose in mind.
All kidding aside, this is the most-used spatula in my kitchen. It is the one I grab first. It fits the hand so well, and the subtle curve of its handle (which I have been completely unable to capture in a photo) is just right. My favorite Gourmet Kitchen Tools Store in Glendale, AZ carries a great selection of Jonathan's Spoons utensils.
I've been collecting wooden spoons (I have this same spatula) and wooden cooking implements for years, and have more than 200 (gulp....) in my kitchen. Be careful -- spoons can be addictive!
